Golly, 2013 chapter is almost near to its goodbye, fortnight of the month and all of a sudden it already X-MAS! wow! can you feel the cool breeze of december? Puto bumbong on the street, carollings, colorful display of x-mas lights and lanterns, signs that reflects the spirit of christmas.
And its a perfect time to took chances of doing light layering. i was wondering how can i wear my tartan shirt. So i took inspiration on the american work wear “lumberjack”. Lumberjacks are often the types of workers found in rugged outdoor environments, who work within the logging industry to cut down or harvest trees.
Since lumberjacks are often associated with people who tend to wear plaid shirts, flannel ensembles and rugged boots, so i was able to incorporate all the stuff that i got that i think works for this look.
To utilize this overall style i opt to wear my tartan shirt and pair it with cords and boots to give that rugged and earthy vibe.
And the location is so perfect to tell the story of the photos and the outfit. I try to put together the modern and classic lumberjack by adding ensembles like the denim gilet, beanie and sunnies ready to deploy at the slightest change in temperature.
Contrasting and i kept the colors match the locations palette to give that earthy vibe.
American workwear is a brilliant choice for the autumn/winter period, and the list of advantages are endless. For me it’s a classic choice and it’s so easy and will never, ever leave the fashion consciousness.
Tartan shirt that i got last year is my favorite when it comes to vintage and classic rugged wear.
